Children are an important part of our ministry here at MBC and we desire to meet the needs of every age group by exposing them to the gospel and teaching biblical principles. From infant to two years old, we have a nursery provided during each service. For 1st-6th graders, we have graded Sunday School classes, Children’s Church during the Morning Worship hour, Kids Club on Wednesday nights and much more. Kids are provided a place to hear God’s Word taught on their level.
* Our teachers and anyone working with children have been thoroughly screened, background checked and have had Child Protection/Training courses.
The teenagers of Metropolitan are constantly challenged to dig deeper into God’s Word daily and they enjoy many activities on a regular basis. They also participate in summer youth camps, rallys, conferences, bible studies and more.
College & Career
Our College & Career is focused on building spiritual foundations that will last the toughest of times. They enjoy activities and fellowship that encourage an intimate relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
Our many different adult classes provide fellowship, activities and Biblical teaching. Each class is designed to build strong individuals and families through the truths of God’s Word. You will find a variety of classes from our Homebuilder’s Class for young families to our Ambassador’s Class for the mature Christian.
Our ladies meet one Thursday night each month for Bible study, food, fellowship, and fun. Beyond these meetings, we have retreats, banquets, shopping trips, and more opportunities to bless each other.
The men of Metropolitan get involved in many areas of ministry and enjoy meeting together for many activities and times of fellowship. From going to the shooting range, to breakfast, retreats, conferences and more.
Our services are filled with soul-stirring, old-time evangelistic congregational singing combined with choir, individual groups, solos and instrumentals that contain a clear Biblical message honoring the Lord.
The goal of MBC is to reach our community and beyond. We devote time to knocking on doors, passing out flyers, visiting prospective members and absentees, encouraging those in the hospital, ministering to our shut-ins and much more.
Our Prayer Warriors spend time in prayer during each service, asking the Lord to work in the hearts of those in the service that day, those that are in leadership as well as praying for our families. We have seen the Lord work and do many marvelous things through the prayers of our faithful Prayer Warriors.
Texas Theological University & Seminary
MBC believes that it is the local church’s responsibility to disciple and train their own people for ministry. With that vision, we have a school that is chartered by the State of Texas. We grant degrees in Theology, Ministry, Christian Education, and Missions.
