Travis Jones; and son, one of our Associate Pastors, Brian Adkisson with his wife Meredith. Pastor Adkisson earned a Bachelor in Music degree from Cameron University in Lawton , Oklahoma .  He has also served our nation during the Vietnam War in the United States Army.  In 1972, Pastor came to Metropolitan as Music and Youth Director, serving under his father, Hugh Adkisson. He has filled many roles over the years since then but in 1984 he began serving as the Educational Director.  In 1986 Pastor Adkisson felt called of God to go to South Africa as a Missionary and spent 10 years on the Mission field ministering until the summer of 1996 when Metropolitan called him to be our Senior Pastor.  He has faithfully ministered to the congregation of Metropolitan as Senior Pastor, leading her to the will of God and lost souls.
