Brother Jacob Hunka was saved in 1999 after one of our "Harvest Day" activities.  He was later called to the ministry in 2002, and has served faithfully on staff since then in many capacities. Brother Hunka is presently serving as the Children's

minister for Wednesday night bible clubs, which consist of grades kindergarten through sixth grade. He is also the outside facilities manager and organizes the lawn maintenance. He and his wife Dana where married in September of 2007 and they had their first child born early November 2008. Brother Hunka is currently continuing his education in Biblical Studies at our Texas Theological University and Seminary, Expecting to have enough credits to graduate this winter with a Bachelors Degree in Bible. He and his wife are very involved with the children of Metropolitan by helping, teaching and leading as many activities throughout the year as they can. Brother Hunka is also our web designer and maintenance director for the church website, and our other ministry sites.
