CUBA COMMITMENT

Updates:

Our update letter has gone out, and prayerfully so.  It is expected to arrive at your door any day now.  If you have questions concerning the content please do not hesitate to call the Church or my cell.  One of our fellow missionaries will be in Cuba this week.  He will be in for 15 days teaching and preaching at a seminar in the Eastern side of the island.  He will also be continuing his ongoing training with the men to whom he is discipling there.  I am not revealing his name, if you know, great, if you want to know, call me.  A lot has transpired lately and safety of our men is a must!  Please pray!  The specifics are further in this document under the title Prayer Requests.  This dear Brother is also taking funds to begin the printing of the ABC’s of Christian Growth in Spanish and searching out more places to print our next tract for the “Bible Tract Project” we plan to begin this in the next month or two.

Information:

Brother Milton Martin has been a vital part of our Commitment.  Metropolitan owes this man a great deal of thanks for the teachings of Indigenous Principles and Personal Discipleship.  His strategy based thinking has enabled us to consider the whole instead of the pieces.  He has empowered us to depend solely on the Holy Spirit for our decisions and we need to publicly acknowledge him and his fight for us.  Please pray for him, seek God’s face for this warrior of the cross that God will continue to use him in helping Churches like ours and inspiring men to make commitments like Cuba Commitment.

Prayer Request:

Pray for our unnamed Brother (Lord knows) that will be in Cuba this week.  Pray for God’s safety as he travels.  Pray for God to use him in reaching even more key men in Cuba to train.  Pray as he investigates more print shops and enables the few we have with funds for training materials.  Pray for the continued labor in the works his disciples have.  Pray for even more baptisms to be wrought as have been in previous trips.  Pray for new insight and renewed vision for other parts of this island.  Pray that the anti-American semitism does not harm him.  Pray for protection and perfect peace of mind to his home Church and his dear family.  This missionary is a dear friend of mine, and a warrior for Cuba … PLEASE PRAY!
