CUBA COMMITMENT
To continue our thoughts
last week and in conclusion; there is a since of Glory in confronting
Governments such as Cuba in defiance of their
stands against Christianity. The adventurous thought of smuggling and fear
of confiscation makes Christians feel excited and as if they are really doing
something for God. Risk taking does give a thrill, but when your goal is
the salvation of souls then it takes real work. It may take some
espionage to do a lot of work in the countries we are speaking of, but what is
the focus and goal of our mission? The answer is found in the heart of
the Missionary or Pastor. The answer has to be investigated by the
intentions of the individual. Are you doing these activities for adventure
or for souls? Balance dictates to us that we need to get the Gospel in
but we must also obey our laws. I believe that we need get our thoughts
and prayers onto God opening the doors of this country to the Gospel.
Meanwhile we must make every effort to take a stand and contend for souls
waiting to hear the Gospel. We are preparing for that day and in small
amounts helping the men working now. We are in desperate need of men and
women to pray that God will open miraculous doors for these containers.
We are also in need of a few more surveys to know if there are ports we can
enter and what it will take to do so. This “issues” are important because
we do not face them everyday. We are starting in the 21 st century to work in areas and
countries we have not had experience in. Let us pray for wisdom and
direction. Our best laid plans are not efficient to what God can
do. Please pray for us as we are praying for you.
